2025 Philadelphia Phoenix Open Tryouts

The Philadelphia Phoenix want YOU on the 2025 Hotbird roster! Open tryouts are an opportunity for you to have your skills, athleticism, ultimate knowledge, and grit assessed by Phoenix coaches and staff. The first tryout event will feature targeted ultimate skills assessment, a combine, and game simulation. Registration includes all tryout-related events and 1 free month of watchUFA.tv.*

Early Bird Registration: ends Sunday, 12/1

General Registration: closes Wednesday, 1/8

NEW! Under 21 Rate: includes pinnie, must be under 21 by Jan 11, 2025 and show ID at registration

Please bring cleats, water bottle and snack for the evening, if desired. Arrive promptly at 4:40 PM to sign in and receive your pinnie/number.

Top performing players will advance to invitational tryout rounds tentatively scheduled for Saturday, Jan 25th and Feb 1st at an outdoor location TBD.

Tryout Medical Clearance Forms (required):

Due post-infection heart health risks presented by COVID-19, all participants must complete the following medical forms and submit them at the link below. These forms can be submitted before or after you complete your registration, but must be uploaded by Wednesday, Jan 8th 2025 for you to participate in the tryout.

General Medical Clearance Form, completed and signed by participant’s primary care physician. This form can be emailed to your doctor’s office, though they may ask to complete the form in person if you haven’t had a physical examination in the past 2 years. Please contact your primary care physician ASAP to inquire about clearance form completion.

The Phoenix expect a high level of commitment and attendance from players. The 2024 season will involve:
- 1 weeknight and 1 weekend practice March-April
- 1-2 weeknight practices May-August
- 12 Fri/Sat night games May-July, with some international travel to Canada
